Sajid Nadiadwala KICK-s up birthday excitement!

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala (birthday: February 18) has emerged as an entity in cinebiz who is synonymous with trust, dependability and a terrific work culture. The esteemed producer now turns director with KICK, showcasing an actor called Salman Khan, who routinely kicks up tons excitement for all his admirers. Come July, this year, Sajid will put his debut directorial plans into action for KICK.

A while later, he has a thriller lined up with hit-machine Katrina Kaif and Nawab Saif Ali Khan called PHANTOM, directed by Kabir Khan. Also on the anvil are plans to re-unite Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, yet again, in a new project to be helmed by Imtiaz Ali (HIGHWAY).

2 STATES illumining Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is another forthcoming flick that has whipped up a buzz too, since he will be co-producing it with Karan Johar.

'I made commercial films and now I want to be associated with other kinds of cinema. It gives me a big high to be part of diverse themes. It feels great that I am launching new talents and at the same time working with people I have been a fan of and look up to, like Imtiaz and Kabir. It is a great experience to see how they visualize their films,' says Sajid.
